    Professional Practice Fellow Kaye Wilson and PA to HOD Teena Joyce won medals in last week's Master's Games Tournament held here in Dunedin. Teena's team won the silver medal in Women's Football 25+. Kaye won golds in both Bridge and Twilight 400 (curling, darts, 10 pin bowling, and small bore rifle shooting). Read more >>

  • CTCR team for Moro Marathon

  • The Centre for Translational Cancer Research is entering a team in this year's Moro Marathon. Included in the team are four people whose stomachs have been removed to prevent them getting stomach cancer; a test developed by the laboratory having shown that they had inherited a gene that gave them a very high chance of developing it. Sponsorship will help fund ongoing research into this and other cancers. Read more >>

  • Associate Professor Parry Guilford is one of nine University of Otago researchers to have received funding from the Ministry of Business, Innovation & Employment’s 2012 Science Investment Round. Parry will receive $455,279 pa for two years with the option to apply for a further two years' funding for his study on sequence based diagnostics from single cells. Read more >>
